We Are Here

We Are Here

Today, as the nation witnesses a stark reminder of the uncertainty many of us face, we stand in solidarity with everyone affected by the wave of anti-trans & anti-intersex policies being enacted. It is disheartening to see communities like ours used as political pawns, but our resolve is stronger than any attempt to diminish who we are.

At Queer Crafters, inclusivity runs in our veins. This isn’t just about crafting—it’s about community, identity, and showing up boldly, even when it feels like the world is working against us. We know the road ahead will be difficult. Standing proud in public spaces, at festivals, and other events around Texas is no small feat in these times. But we are here.

We’ve had people come up to us and share how much they love everything about us—our boldness, our unapologetic presence, our message. We’ve heard your coming-out stories, stories of naming children in ways that give them the freedom to define themselves as they grow, and stories of regret from parents wishing they had supported their children earlier in life. These moments of connection mean the world to us. Regardless of the story, we are honored to listen, and we love hearing them. It warms our hearts and keeps us going. Thank you to all who have shared your journeys with us.

If you see us at an event and need or want a hug, just ask. We’re always open to offering comfort, kindness, and connection.

The future may be uncertain, but one thing is unwavering:

We are here—unapologetic and proud. Together, we fight to forge a path toward understanding, acceptance, and love.
